Need Help. Chick seems to have intestines outside body or is it the yoke sac?

My last batch of chicks I had a chick born with its intestines outside the body. I think it’s happened again. It looks a bit different than the last almost like the yoke sac. The other chicks ran over the shell and crushed it but the shell is still attached to its bottom. I know not to remove it. My question is is this the yoke sac this time or is it the intestines again? Either way what should be done and why would this be happening. I’ve attached a pic of what’s going on. Any help would be appreciated. I put the chick on a paper towel because the feet keep gettinstuck in the grate.

That is the yolk. It did not absorb it all the way. @WVduckchick @CluckNDoodle @Jpat Ihave no experience with unabsorbed yolk sacs so I'm tagging you guys

I see this thread was from hours ago. Did the little one make it? That's a lot of blood loss. The chick definitely wasn't ready to hatch yet but yes, that's the yolk sac and given some time they can sometimes finish absorbing it.

Is there other birds going to hatch in there with him? If their is get him inside a tupperware dish or margirene dish lined with paper towel, Make sure the humidity stays up in the incubator too
That yolk is liquid inside and its very important it doesnt rupture

it can take up to two days for the yolk to be absorbed, But it can be done, Goodluck!

Its still got a shot at life, but honestly, its grim. We'll all keep our fingers crossed though!
If it were me, I'd place it in a cup/bowl/container as Jpat suggested. The more upright you can make it sit seems to encourage absorption. Just be very careful not to bust it.
Keep the portion of the shell/membrane that is still attached.

Yes, she's still alive. To stop the other chicks from running all over her and possibly puncturing the yolk sac I put her in a small bowl and back into the incubator. She seems to be doing okay sits up now and then but still lethargic. But that's to be expected since she's only about 12 hours old and had a really hard hatch. I ended up having to assist her and hatching out after 24 hours found out that she was upside down in the egg. Also the yolk has now decrease in size tremendously.

Aww, I hope she pulls through for you! It's just a matter of time, warmth, and lots of patience now.

I did just that when I posted the post. I figured if the other chicks hatching had broken the shell it was only a matter of time before they got to the yoke. Thank you for confirming that I did the right thing. Right after posting this I had another chick hatch out within an umbilical hernia. So that one end doing the corn starch treatment on it and putting it in a small bowl too. It was bleeding out before doing that. That cup was out and running around when I woke up. The 4 chicks that hatched were all hatched 24 hrs before they were suppose to. 2 of the 4 ended up with problems. I’m really getting to hate the Chinese Incubator. My chicks in the Little Giant are all doing great. The ones in the Chinese one I always have some coming out with problems. Thinking about it now, I think I might know what the problem is now. The Chinese bator The temperature and humidity is very hard to control. I end up having to cover it with a blanket just to regulate the temperature and tape the face of it to keep the humidity where it needs to be.
