Need help chicken expert got rooster and hen need help

I think that tire idea would help you with them spilling the water also.

You've gotten lots of good info to help. I do think 1 teaspoon vinegar per gallon in the drinking water could help your rooster in particular.

For your sick hen. If you could please get her alone in a box on paper towels, then take photos of her and her droppings and post a new thread about her, hopefully we can get you some help.

@lovechickens23 Use the Purina Flock Raiser (green bag) just provide your laying hens oyster shell free choice.

A note to everyone participating on this thread. The OP is a minor, so please keep your comments civil.
. But the green bag is all most emty and I just bought thee one why cant I use the other one? It says grower on it like u said. What is op?

Maybe I should introduce myself. My screen name is getaclue. Maybe someday I'll know enough to change it to gotaclue, but the longer I raise chickens, the more I find there are new things to learn, so I don't know if I'll ever be gotaclue.

Most coop fires are not caused by water dish heaters, however, a little common sense with them is good. Most coop fires are from coop heaters using high wattage bulbs.

Another inexpensive method to offset frozen water is:

Both links show good examples. The tire method is not 100%, but it does a fairly good job.
