Need help identifying what happened to my feed

Pics
I agree with Kiki, I would just go ahead and treat all that are housed with him, if that's possible.

When you have times, photos of the poop would be good too.
How are you keeping them? Any way that you can put a perch in the cage for them to roost so they aren't sleeping on the floor?

When I spoke with the vet about treating the girls he said it sounded like they were immune and likely he just had some issues where he wasn't as strong. The med I'm giving is metabolized through the liver. I can't give it to my older hen but I could possibly treat them with corid since it seems to work on them. I'd have to separate him though so I would get a stool sample before doing that.

They sleep on a roost about 18 inches off the ground. I added some boards and towels when he began losing his balance to create more of a platform. I plan to convert it back to a roost once he gets more stable. Their droppings used to fall into shavings but now are on the towels. Her stools are completely normal but just a little more loose. The wetness just made me nervous. It's very coincidental it started with the new feed but given the coccidia I am a little insecure. I saw her poop in the yard and it looked great but it wasn't as thick as a typical little ball. Just very moist and fell apart when moved. I'll snap a pic of it next time I'm out in a bit or tomorrow morning on their platform.

I forgot you were giving him the other medication instead of Corid. Yes, have a fecal done for the ladies.
With a transition to a different feed, poop can change a little so likely it's nothing to worry about, but it doesn't hurt to inspect poop:)

Here is a fresh sample she just gave me. It does have bubbles. Not sure if that's a bad sign or not. I've heard it can be. As soon as she lays me a nice cecal stool I will mix the two, bag it and take it.

Did you ever think you'd be following around a chicken to collect poop?

Please look at these pics. It's warm here this week in the 60s and bees are everywhere. Sal has been running around like something is after him. I thought maybe a bee got in his feathers. There are hundreds trying to get in their shavings. I didn't see a bee but I am seeing strange scabs. He acts like something is biting him but I still don't see anything. The base of his feathers are yellow and some of his skin has this white coating like a scab. He also has dark scabs like you see with red mites but I don't see any. I have ivermectin. Will that kill everything including lice and depluming mites? I know what lice looks like on a chicken and l don't see any. He also has yellow junk coming out of his ear canal. I don't think it's wax?! I'm afraid sal has more than one thing wrong with him. Could his instability be due to something in his ears more so than the anemia?

Just throwing some things out there - not saying what it is, with skin conditions it can be hard to know - he seems to have quite few things going on.
(I see so many different thing, I hope I don't have you confused with someone else).
I would like to see what Kiki and Kathy think as well, but did I remember you saying you had Marek's in your flock? Could Cutaneous Form of Marek's.

Could also be related to his slow development as well. Does he take dust baths? You had feathers coming out with a funny looking end, if I remember right.

Something else that comes to mind is fungal infection or just plain dry skin.
Those "holes" look like where a feather should be coming in, hopefully you will see some new growth.

Yes I've had mareks in my flock before. I think he *might* be going through a mini moult. So that is consistent with the new holes for new growth. I just now looked him over and his underside mostly along the keel is full of scabs only around the feather follicles and I am fairly certain something is eating on him. Some of the empty holes where feathers were have yellow serous fluid that's dried. Not sure what that is. I have ivermectin pour on 1.5 cc in my lap right now about to give it to him. I put a few drops of olive oil on his ear feathers and hole area. I really am thinking I should give him the ivermectin. He's starting to look pale again (more flushed on his comb) and I think it's bc something else is still taking his blood.

Oh forgot to answer some questions. He tries to bathe but he's so uncoordinated right now. Yes he had a large wing feather with blood on the end fall out while I was holding him. It's like he's brittle.

What are your thoughts on the middle picture? Zoom in and look at the black crust. I have a bad feeling I have that depluming mite and I've heard it's a bear to get rid of.

If you have Ivermectin on hand I would use it.
I am not familiar with the correct dose of the pour on, sorry.

He either has some type of parasite or it is the Marek's making his skin that way.
