Need help sexing this button quail

Oh! I had a couple of those hens. They overturned a plant that drained their waterer while I was away for the weekend. You can guess the rest. My poor little Psyche and Squid. I’ve fixed the plant issue and hatched their last eggs since then.

My color naming skills run: white, silver, little brown one, spotty, red butt, and tuxedo.

I feel u alucard flew off and im down to 5 of his eggs that are alive and incubating 1 in incubator and 4 under the mom who is doing a perfect job !, im gonna keep one of gis as a personal hand tamed pet

What color is that!? It's so pretty!!

Also what color do you think the offspring of these 2 will be? Assuming the male is either the classic blue or red breasted, Nothing but red breasted?

I wanna call the original blue color wild type but not sure if that's accurate or not. I know red breasted is classic but the red underneath covers the whole chest area.

No it stays that way thats just the female version of a red breasted the brown normal female is the blue breasted

Oh ok well I'm gonna assume since the eggs supposedly came from a pair of parents that this male is gonna be a red breasted

I thought darth vader at first but im just now seeing hints of blue showing.

Also he's very mad at me manhandling him for some photos xD
