okNormal rumpless birds balance fine.
@Beacon Point Ratite Ranch are you ok with this?No offense but this is serious. No jokes, please. Unless OP is fine with it.
maybe she's busy getting supplies for the chick & taking care of her?OP has not been online since little after the thread was begun. Hopefully everything is alright.
x2maybe she's busy getting supplies for the chick & taking care of her?
I hope the chick is ok!
Could you get us a photo? This sounds similar to the issue I just posted about. I have a chick who seems shaped oddly and pitches forward and loses balance. She has been doing it since I received her at 2 days old. She is almost 10 weeks now and she seems to have learned to compensate for it better. When outside eating clover she will lay down and eat instead of having to lean forward and risk toppling forward. I am not sure if she has a tail or not I am going to try and look closer tomorrow after seeing this.
Sure. You can see in one how she lays down and grazes, I have not seen any of the others do this so I’m assuming it’s related to her difficulties. She also breathes heavy and has since I received her at two days old.Could you get us a photo?
