Recently was given chickens that were rescues. They're doing well, and putting on weight quickly but we don't know genders or breeds on most of them (beyond the silkie which is a pretty stand out breed, so just a gender there) and were looking for opinions. We do know they're all fairly young, around 4 months. There are 8 altogether but these are the first four we're curious about. Thank you!

They look a lot like it! It's the boss of this little flock, so we were wondering if it was a cockerel or just very dominant in personality. While they are probably almost old enough to lay or crow we are worried they might be delayed due to being very malnourished when we got them so we've been trying to guess by sight.

Here are better pictures so you can see the cockerel and pullet together of welsummers. They are a little over 3 months old now, and the leg horns.

Hi. . I say, Silkie..of course. Wellsummer, the White is not a legorn, looks like a white rock ..third is a red Sexlink. You are in for some eggs! You will know better when you see what the second one lays. Wellsummers lay the prettiest dark speckled eggs.
