Need help with malpositioned pigeon chick!!

Hey all :) took jake to the vets today. Turns out he had a small feather cyst on his head which the vet removed. She weighed him and checked his throat etc and said all looks really good. However she thinks he could have paramyxovirus :hmm she has took a swab of his mouth and is going to send it off to a lab. We will wait and see and hope for the best!

Oh and she gave us some antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medication to see if it helps him.

I hope the test comes back all clear. PMV isn't necessarily fatal but there is no medication for it. All you can do is help them through it. If it is, it will take a couple of weeks to clear but with your care I'm sure he'll make a full recovery. :)
