Need Help with Star This is her Poop

You would probably want to inspect the crop, proventriculus, gizzard, and large and small intestines, the cecum. Look for the presence of worms in intestines as well as blood or gut damage. Remains should be buried deeply out of chickens yard or burned.

The best thing you could do for your flock is a thourough body inspection of your hens. Looking for any signs of illness, mainly loss of body condition. Weight loss is usually a sign of problems. When was the last time your hens were wormed? What did you use? Check for lice. Check their droppings. Watch your flock everyday to see if you see any of them that seem dont seem quite right.

So sorry! Sometimes I send mine off for necropsy, sometimes I do them myself. Many things will be quite obvious, so if you're game, I say try it.

From what you have been talking about and her symptoms my guess is she developed yolk stroke infection from a possible soft shelled egg rupturing inside her and infecting her insides, the treatment whould have had to have been quick and very agressive baytril injectable with or in conjunction with clavamox and a possible hormonal implant (desoraline) to stop her egg laying and give her body a rest , its simple some hens get in serious trouble because of laying egg after egg after egg untill there body starts to malfunction from the stress that all the egg laying and constant ovulation puts on them, sounds like the exact symptoms my hen had along with the green poop and chunks which a lab identified as being inflamed parts of her reproductive tract , I took my hen to a avian specialist , they put her on powerfull antibiotics and metacam for pain and inflamation and installed a desorlin implant under her skin she dosent lay anymore eggs and is perfectly fine and healthy, at least if something were to happen again you will know how to help , sorry for your loss.
