Need input on something odd

You've pretty much described a collapsed egg or her body's attempt at an egg, and it would be the correct size for that.

It also matches up with her lethargic behavior. She may still have more material in her oviduct that needs to come out. Then she should feel better.

Give her a calcium tablet immediately. This will assist her in strong contractions to expel anything still in her. Then, as @Wyorp Rock has suggested, give her a calcium tablet each day until she is laying normal eggs again.

It could be egg membrane and mucus, probably from an issue affecting the oviduct. Have you seen any shell-less or soft eggs in the nest boxes?
In the first year, we always had one or two nearly shell-less eggs everyweek but then sleeper started acting strange one night(really aggressive and agitated, wouldn't let anyone into the hen house) so i brought her inside and she went nearly limp with sleep while I carried her to the hospital tote. She perked up a bit at first till i couldnt see anything wrong but she was dead in the morning. No further soft eggs happened for over a year. When they reoccured I adjusted the diet and it stopped. The last soft shell was over two months ago

Can you get photos of the poop?

If she's expelling mucous or egg white, then she may be having some reproductive issues or has had another soft shelled egg break inside. I'd get the calcium into her to see if she expels another membrane.

I'd also consider starting her on an oral antibiotic. Amoxicillin is a good choice, but if you have something else on hand, let us know.
I wish I had taken a picture, but I was more concerned with getting it away from her incase of a bacteria causing it.

There is no vet within 500 miles of here that will look at a chicken (tried exotic vets too, farm vets here only tend to larger animals) but i will see if i have anything in my cupboard.

Thanks. I will give that a try

Just an update:

This is my ailing free range chicken (a golden sexlink, by the way).

She is in the hospital tote, large enough to move and get comfortable but small enough to discourage excessive movement(had a bird with broken bones a while back, she is well now and back with the flock, accident prone....trouble with wings. But we love her.) And keeps food and water in easy reach. It was used again as a quarantine tote when I heard a bird sneeze and weeze, herbs and colloidal silver for a week, but she is fine now.

She has passed several semi normal poops now( still turning the bedding blue) but no eggs. She is energetic enough to stand up but in sixteen hours has made no attempt to leave this open top tub(she ordinarily could in a heartbeat....sawdust and all, it would make a clatter) . She isnt eating much and refused her usual prefered scrambled egg treat, i gave her calcium citrate on watermelon . I will keep her a while, until she eats and drinks normally. And hopefully a bit more energy.

It has taken a few days but my little chicken called Lemon (a.k.a fluffy butt, she poofs through tiny slits.....all fluff!) Has officially made it back to the grass. She is with her flock now. She eats, poops, and lays eggs. But she is still a little more subdued and slow moving.

Hopefully she continues to Improve. Thanks for all the help and advice.
