Need some advice on Java's

Sometimes it is difficult to see if they are pure greens or spalding, but for this birds it needs just this one picture to be sure that they are spaldings. If you were told they are pure greens, then the seller has either absolute not idea what he is doing or the was designed to cheat you.

On my side www.pfauenfarm.de you will see only pictures of pure greens at all ages. Just for the future if you will look again for pure greens that you have an idea how they should look like.

Yes I am interested in getting some REAL JAVAS. also would like some different colors then the blues.

What state are you in? (I am asking to help find a nearby breeder)

Since you want to get into more colors you would probably really benefit from visiting a large peafowl breeder if there is one near you. Some of the varieties don't photograph that well so seeing them in person helps you make the decision as well.

Pfauenfreund is right his site has many wonderful photos of green peafowl. I printed out some of his photos for when I visit places with green peafowl to help me easily compare them. If you can I would definitely print off a few pictures from his site and those will be a good reference.
Here is a link straight to one of his green peafowl pages with pictures: http://www.pfauenfarm.de/Home-English/Our-Peafowl/Pavo-Muticus-Muticus-E/pavo-muticus-muticus-e.html
