Check your local Craigslist for pallets/wood/bricks etc sometimes you can get things for cheap or even free! We have a lot of people giving away free bricks in my area that we were about to pay $1 each for, in order to raise our chicken coop a bit higher.

Do you prefer the higher sitting ones? I have a cool I used for my three babies (rip) but now that I made 6 of their babies it definitely won’t be big enough when they’re full grown. It’s more like a rabbit hutch style and isn’t super tall but it has a closed section and a wired section. Super nice and stands tall! I wonder if there’s a way I could just build off of that hutch and add an extra wing haha

Size isn’t an issue for me I’ll Hot wire and fence my whole backyard in if it means they’ll be safe I just want them to be ok
