Nevadans?

Daniel, I'll say some prayers for your dad. I hope they find out what's causing the pain, and that he gets better.

Also, Laceynoelle wants everyone to know that she's alive and kicking. She can't get on the internet to post in the forum right now, but was able to make it through to a group PM to let us know. She hopes she can be back soon.

Good morning, everyone. I hope your day is fabulous.

Hello all. I have a request for prayer, good thought, positive vibes, whatever it is you do for my father. I didn't post about this earlier since it is a situation that is pretty much we don't know what is going on. About two weeks ago my father was on the golf course when he got a serious pain in his side. He is 70 so pain on the golf course is not unusual. In this case it did not go away or get better. Last Thursday he had a cat scan of his lungs. The result was he was scheduled for a biopsy on Monday. We know so far from that biopsy that it is NOT cancer. But even with that it is still suspected it is a little bit of just about everything else you can have in your lungs, including tuberculosis. They know there is some degree of emphazema. ( I can't spell this stuff and spell check does not work). He has had a long history of Pneumonia and Bronchitis. This is most likely just a progression of lung problems he has had for years. Btu still good thoughts and wishes are appreciated.
I plan to take a day off next week and take him around to see all the stuff I have going on and basically just spend a day with him. Best energy for that to be a good day also if you all don't mind. I am a Christian so outright prayer is my favorite but I don't push my way of doing things on anyone.

I will be praying for your dad. I hope they can get some answers for him soon.

As promised, here is evidence that I have ridden an ostrich. It was quite awkward but a very unique experience. I spent 3 weeks in South Africa on a study tour after my junior year of college.

Thanks for posting! Last Saturday, on the classic movie channel, Swiss Family Robinson was on and there's a part where the kids try to ride an ostrich! And then I see Missy's pic and now this.

Elizabeth, you look nothing like I expected. I kind of pictured you with dark hair... maybe because of your beautiful kids. But you look a lot like me.

My husband is from mexico, so that's where my daughter gets her dark hair. I should post a more recent picture of myself. that was almost 18 years ago. I'm still blond, though I'm not skinny any more

here's me and the hubs in December

Here are the kids, just 'cause. My son looks more like my side of the family. he was much blonder when he was younger but his hair has darkened up a bit.
