Seth I see at least 2 pullets but my guess is 4 pullets and 2 roos. Crooked toes can be caused from a few different things. Usually birds with crooked toes get along just fine though it is a DQ.

Heavens no! I wish I had the patience to weave. I actually buy them through a farm in Oregon that imports them from Ghana through a "farm to farm" program to ensure that the weavers are paid a living wage. I'm very careful when purchasing these types of products to sell in my store, that it's all fair trade.

I currently have 8 available. But I have a lady coming to look at them this weekend so let me know what you think. 4 are 2 weeks old and 4 just hatched Saturday. I have more in the incubator too!

Oh, those showgirls are adorable!! Loe the little silver chipmunk peeps.

The more you guys share veggies stories and info, the more I really want a garden. They never turn outright, ug! And part of it is its hard doing stuff on this property since it's not mine, but someday I'll have a beautiful garden.

Great news, the chiks are hatching!!! I have four from overnight, I'll check in when I get back from work.

Congrats on your hatch what breeds are they? I am sorry if I missed that info earlier on here, sometimes it is difficult to read all the old posts!



~Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Poultry Swap and Sale on April 14th at Feed World 315 Spokane st (off of 4th street just past D Bar M)~ There will be people selling other items too like Horse Tack including Saddles. Anyone with farm, handmade or livestock(including live animals like goats etc are welcome) related items can come sell we have the whole dirt lot next to Feed World. We just ask that if you plan on selling you let us know so we can plan accordingly and a donation for the space to the club. All proceeds go directly into the NNPFA Show in November...we have to pay over $2000 to rent the livestock pavilion and we are about $700 short this year
