Great minds think alike, eh?

The video was a couple of pages back. It's really cute! Actually there were two of them.

I saw one video but I missed the latest. The ducks were still tiny in the one I saw.
OK since you started the cheesy jokes Ron and cheesy jokes are kinda a family tradition in the Miller family...
*1 is a little off, but if it offends anyone let me know and I'll make it disappear.*

I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman where
the Self Help section was, she said if she told me it
would defeat the purpose.

A bicycle can't stand on its own because it is two-tired.

The real art of conversation is not only to say the right
thing at the right time, but also to leave unsaid the wrong thing at
the tempting moment.

Why is it called lipstick if you can still move your lips?

Fred walked into a psychiatrist's office wearing only saran wrap
underpants. The psychiatrist said: "Well, I can clearly see you're nuts".

And just cause I thought it was funny...

OK, now as soon as I catch up on my email I've got to go hunt down that ducky video.

When I pick up more Flock Raiser on Saturday, I'm also going to get a bale of straw. The kids can get real straw in their Easter baskets. It makes just as much of a mess, and at least the real straw has a chance of disappearing within a year. Versus the plastic stuff. Honestly, I just found some from 2 years ago. It's like Christmas tinsel.

Today I'm calling around to trusted friends, looking for someone who needs yard work or animal cleanup done on Saturday. Joe thinks it's ok to hit girls if they provoke him first. (She did not touch him first, just verbally teased him.) I have a bit of work here for him, but we're fairly caught up in comparison to a kid who just got suspended again for violence.

Yours and mine both huh Missy, I got a call today about my son Galen (he's 9). He and his friend were playing tag ang it got out of hand. The sad thing is that the principal was laughing when he called. I guess when he intervied the boys seperatly they both said they were "punching each other lightly, because they're friends and didn't really want to hurt each other" I'm glad he called before my son got home because I had to laugh before I could be mad. LOL. If I didn't have family coming in tomorrow for the weekend I'd have said bring him on over and the boys could strip and repaint my fences together. I always have stuff I need done around here.

I know what you mean about the Christmas tinsel. I'm still finding it everywhere!

WOW just caught up with over 90 posts! What a chatty bunch.

ummmm I forget most of what I read. LOL I do need to ask though. Are you sure that the Mystery chick is not from the chicks you got from me? Reason I ask is because they feather in like that and my pullets from that mix are either laying a almost rose colored egg or they are my lavender layers. So if there's a possiblity, DON'T GET RID OF THAT BIRD!

Yea! Somebody appreciates my groaners. I swear the same jokes that get no response here get a huge reaction on the hatching thread. I'm gonna start posting all my jokes over there.
My Dad is so cute! He likes to tell the dumbest jokes and when you groan he giggles like a little kid. In fact the louder you groan the more it tickles him!

Nope she gets an OE. I am waiting til they start laying to find out. She will then get a POL, OE pullet!

Just means "point of lay". Either just before or just after a pullet starts laying (or should start laying anyway if it's before).

I just found out some BYC friends of mine are opening a new storefront business! The possibilities are endless at this stage and they are busy, busy, busy with planning etc. but I am just so excited for them!!! I had to tell someone and Steve is sound asleep. It's just so nice to see that folks are taking these kinds of steps again! Even though the news has been talking about the economic recovery it just makes me so happy to see it in action with two such sweet and hopeful people! I just know they will make it!

I'm also a little jealous! I loved running the staging business and we made a decent profit at it but I have always wanted to run a little food joint. I mean beyond the seedy Bar and Grill that DD's Dad and I owned. We made a decent 2nd income off that place but it's surprising that we did. We knew nothing! I know so much more now than I did then and I have taken so many business classes and read so many books. All my other businesses were run better than that one, although we made a fantastic profit when we sold that place.

Even though I know the food business is one of the least profitable businesses, I know I could make it work if my back weren't so crapped out.

I really loved feeding people and still do! I even loved that cruddy little dive and the horribly tiny kitchen it had! OK I would want a much bigger kitchen, but still it was a great business for someone like me! These days though I would have to hire the labor and just bark orders. However I am pretty good at that too. Not always happy that I have to bark but I'm good at managing a lot of things at once and good at giving rewards after a job is done well.

OK so what business would you all start if you had a little capital to play with?
