Nevadans?

So, here is one of the recent additions, probably my favorite chicken so far. She is supposed to be an Americanus. I read that very few are true Americanus, most are Easter Eggers? Anyway, this one almost black and has very dark legs. Cant wait to see what color eggs I get.

Definitely some gorgeous birds ya have.
The first bird picture ya posted, the one that has a shawl around its neck and feathered feet
....she looks somewhat like a Brahma - Bantam.
Be curious what others come up with.

I have 5 Easter Egger, 2 Barred Rock, 4 Australorp, 4 Gold Sex Links & 5 Black Sex Links, 4 Rhode Island Red, 4 Orpington

Geeeesh, I did it again and miscounted chickens

My fav's are the Easter Eggers cuz of their fluffy cheeks........they look like little chipmunks faces.
But I enjoy all the girls, acheeem, and the roo too

, for their unique personalities.
Its so fun to be greeted by all of their bakbak's when I enter the coop.

omg! lol, i keep posting this because im sooo excited and cant wait for it to be the day! i want to swap my easter eggers (im sorry, im just not that fond of the breed) and get a barred rock or a buff orpington or a white leghorn. see, i can only have three chickens because im in downtown reno and my pen is really small, so i want all my favorite breeds and i already have a nhr who is extremely sweet. my easter eggers are very pretty (they are all five weeks) but i have a thing for big red combs

Here are the latest editions, the long sought after Penedesenca chicks. They are straight run so I have no clue on sex yet. I read that 80% percent of the time the darker ones are females and the lighter ones are males. Who knows though??

So the Brahma is the same size as the other full size type chickens. Is a bantam a small chicken?
