Unfortunately when you get the recipe from FoodNetwork.com they don't give you all of his explanations - plus, some things you just have to see how they are done (like peeling the beets!). The pickled eggs sounds really cool - I'll have to try it! I'll let you know how it comes out.Ron, I love pickle beets and make them as well. I want to try Alton Brown's recipe someday, I love how he explains about food and the science that goes into cooking it. I want to make pickled eggs sometime and I heard you take the pickling juice from the pickled beets and put the cleaned boiled eggs in a jar and add the pickling juice into the jar. Let the eggs sit in the refrigerator for a week. I'm dying to try it.
I've heard folks around here either rave about Verizon or rant about it. But it seems to come down to whether they are using the 4G (rave) or 3G (rant) service. Which one are you using?Ron we use Verizon cause we have heard so many horror stories about the folks that offer the landline services up here. We could go with Hughes Net but they get the same raving marks. :/
