Unfortunately when you get the recipe from FoodNetwork.com they don't give you all of his explanations - plus, some things you just have to see how they are done (like peeling the beets!). The pickled eggs sounds really cool - I'll have to try it! I'll let you know how it comes out.
I've heard folks around here either rave about Verizon or rant about it. But it seems to come down to whether they are using the 4G (rave) or 3G (rant) service. Which one are you using?

So the other day i was gardening with my polish bantam named Yhang (avatar) and when i got up to leave she followed me all across the yard! I guess shes a little Too attached to me.She also wants to be held,like, 24/7! I love her so much.
Unfortunately we are on the 4G. So I have no where else to go. Now in town it is great! Very fast and doesn't bump me off every time I turn around.

On another note... a sad one. I'm not looking for sympathy but I need to talk about my broken heart just a little bit.
I had to cull one of my very favorite hens yesterday. She was coughing/sneezing and not eating and standing in the corner. She was so beautiful. When she was a chick, I would sit on a chair out in her pen and she would jump up on my lap so I could pet her. That's been a long time ago now but she was still the most beautiful hen in my yard. Every time I walked by she would catch my eye... I'd check and say, "yep, it's Kephtzibah, who else would it be?" But I checked my records and I have a couple daughters from her, several grand daughters this year and one son this year too so hopefully I haven't lost her altogether. I dug around til I found a picture of her last night; she is my new avatar. It might take me a while to get over her, I've been weepy off and on since the night before last. I'm really going to miss seeing her out there.
