I have counclueded that the best invetion ever would be the ability to rent out a coop or lease or buy or trade stuff for it. I just want to be able to have a roo for my 4-h project

. It is fun being the clubs poultry person( we are a rabbit and guiena pig club, but added poultry)and i am who they come to with poultry questions which i can answer but when it comes the standard i am lost. Oh well mabye someone else in our club will become a chicken breeder.

On a briter note last night i was elected the 4-h clubs new vice president!

This was my project this week. I heard there was a pumpkin decorating contest at our church trunk-or-treat tomorrow. I took that as a challenge. Sahara is cooking for the chili cookoff.

I didn't win, though. Actually, when I got there and saw that it was me against a bunch of children under 12 years old, I withdrew from the contest and let my pumpkin be just a decoration. I figured, if I won against a bunch of kids, that would make me a real jerk. The pumpkin got to go home with a friend's daughter.

Well that's a bit of a bummer. It would have been nice if a few adults had gotten into the spirit. Then they could have done the kid's pumpkins separately so there was no unfair advantage. You did exactly the right thing under the circumstances.
