Pineapple would blow any showgirl outta the water! Lol she's amazing. But no, not showing since my birds got sick and are now carriers. Plus showgirls are not a recognized breed so I am not sure the judges would even place them for variety...

Thanks guys! as i said ive flushed it with saline solution and applied antibiotic eye ointment (terramycin). Today she seems alright. The eye bugs her a lot but shes eating and thats most important! I think Gunda may be egg bound but im not certain. I felt one up in there so i put food coloring in her vent and will see if she lays it. If i dont get a green egg by tomorrow then ill know the problem!

Was it my end of Plumas or the south end? The chickens I'm referring to are locked inside a house, but there are a LOT of chickens running around here. A friend told me about a house on Lakeside that always has chickens in the road. This really worries me, part for the chickens and part for city laws. I love that we can have chickens, but the same rule applies to them as dogs or any other animal. Keep them locked up! If we all start living like a 3rd world village and let all our chickens run around pooping on the streets with the other animals, city council might just decide to do something about chickens in general.

I know the family on Lakeside that had chickens that would wander out to the street, I tried to help them with wing clipping but the birds would still get out to the street. They live in the white 2 story farmhouse. Well the chickens are gone because a while back a loose neighbor dog got into their coop one evening and killed all but one hen, then the dog ran into the street and was hit by a car! This was such a sad story

so it isn't their hens in the road, such a bummer.

Aubrey is kind of correct except they will be judged but only among showgirls and cannot compete for Best Feathered Legged because they are not in the standard. But it is still great to show them off and hopefully get the interest to eventually get them into the standard...Im not sure Seth if we will enter one, we have so many other birds to enter....about 30 so far(oh my that is alot of birds to bathe!)

Well that stinks then! She really is amazing. Ill try to get pics tonight. Her crest and body type are flawless, the only one thing bad about her is gold leakage but i doubt the judges would care about color if they cant even really compete anyway. what a shame. Crazy to think Petey made something so beautiful! haha.

I think she is so beautiful. Some frizzles just look like their feathers have gone wacky but this girl is uniformed and just looks fluffed. Good luck, she should do well.
