I haven't been called insane for a long time, not since they let me out of the padded room.

Oh my! I'm so sorry for Sunny, Ron, Missy and any one else having any hard times right now!

I did make some cookies the last few days so we can have some, I'm sorry I can't make it Saturday too. For some unknown reason work will not give me a check unless I show up. Oh well, I'm so glad I love my job.

I wish! I'm working 7 days a week now.....over 50 hours a week and that's just in the store, not what I have to do for the business when we're closed! Trust me, I wish I could drive to Reno for cookies!!!!!!

That made me laugh out loud! Maybe I shouldn't have but I did.

I'll have to recheck stuff. Honest answer, and this is NOT to garner sympathy or any of that. It's just the truth. We're so broke that the truck is completely out of gas, we have 3 prescriptions in need of a refill, the bank account is in the negative by hundreds of dollars, and I don't even have the spare money to buy a sack of flour for the cookies. I'm really glad I packed so much garden produce away, because we're eating healthy right now. I've cancelled 2 other holiday parties that I was supposed to bring food or white elephant gifts to, simply because I don't have a penny to spend on them and telling the hosts that I'm broke would create way too much drama and "Oh, poor you" reactions. We're just holding on tight and waiting for summer to come back around so we can walk more places, grow food again, and stop paying for the heating bill.

There. Whew.

Been there! It's not a fun place to be at all! I can bake cookies for you... can we get someone to pick you all up so you don't have to drive? I've made so many preparations with you all in mind. My special juice (no caffiene), gluten free cookies...

Thank you both! I'm going to see if we can scrounge up some gas money. Our "other child" always gives us a bit of gas when my husband takes him out driving. He's trying to get his license (he's 25) and has failed his driver's test 6 times.

I am so OVER this wet weather! Mostly because the backyard won't dry out enough. The chicken poop isn't so bad, but the dogs go out there, and instead of the stuff staying in one place so we can pick it up, it gets mushed up in the mud with everything else. With that and the mildewing leaves, it stinks!!! I just spent 2 hours, scooping the top inch or two from the entire backyard, putting it in planter boxes and garden beds, and throwing old leaves over top of it to compost down and hide the smell.
