Nevadans?

I'm in! You've already got me up there helping you anyway! Did you want to start your own plants, or do you want me to start them? I'll be doing about 600 or so, anyway.
Cool! I thought you were maxed out by now. I love to start plants but am totally open to other stuff as well. I will have seeds for several varieties of tomatoes, leeks, melons, potatoes, sweet potato slips, green beans, snow peas, carrots, eggplant, corn (tried starting corn inside once, thought I'd gain 2 weeks... it didn't work). Not sure what else I'll add to that list. I will be putting in lettuce seed in a few days but that will stay inside under grow lights. I love having fresh lettuce and spinach inside to pick for salads and stuff. A lot of the veggies I like are cold weather crops but we really don't get a nice spring season. It seems to be cold, cold, cold, then BAM it's hot.

Maybe I need to make a hoop greenhouse out of pvc pipes. lol Like I need to add more to my to-do list. I don't mind starting seeds for you too and then we can swap. :)

Good morning everyone! I hope you all made it through the fog OK this morning. I didn't have to drive through it so I took the opportunity and got some pics. I hope they come out. I'll try downloading them now. :)

Hey Seth... If my rabbit is pregnant, she's due tomorrow. I just put a nesting box in there, and she jumped in and started rearranging the hay instead of eating it. She's carrying around huge amounts of hay in her mouth. Do you think I should expect babies tomorrow? I have a dog kennel that I used as a brooder... should I bring her inside in that, instead of letting her stay in her environment (out in the cold)?

Yup she is most likley pregnant
Bring her in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
she is a first time mother so there is a possiblity that she will have her baboes on the wire and not use the nest box if this happens you need to clean out the nest box is she has peed or pooped in it and build a nest in the box out of hay and her fur. You know she will have the babies soon when she pulls her fur, it will look like a rabbit exploded in there, if the fur is not in the box move it into the box. If she does not pull fur you will have to filp her over and pull out the fur from her chest, belly and chin(it will come out very easily). Keep her away from dogs and snakes becuase that could trigger a naturanl response to make her eat the babies to keep them away from the preditors and save herself. If a baby is cold, put it in a plasticbg but do not zip it and hold it under warm water. If she has still borns or any dead kits remove them imdeatly so they don't attracht bacteria you can PM me for more instructions

Eggs! I started getting eggs new years eve and have been getting 1 or 2 a day. I'm trying to figure out who lays what! It is so fun! So is it a black copper Maran that would lay a REALLY dark brown egg? And I've already had a double yolker that I was so excited about, not sur who layed that one! I really was not expecting eggs until spring, I'm not using additional light, all my chickens are about 5 months old now.
I have 2 RIR, 2 buff Orpington, 2 blrw
