Our walk last night. My daughter likes to bring her sizzle roos. It was Gary's turn. Ha! She holds them like babies the whole way. Very sweet roos.

If something got my chickens that would do it for me! It would be so painful I wouldn't want to get anymore!Totally agree on poisonous things. We've had one baby rattler in the front yard since we've been here, and with the exception of this year, the black widows have been crazy. We call the area between our house and shop "black widow alley". Yuck! I'm usually the one to do the finally lockdown on runs and coops and that sway after dark when all the creepy gross things are out. Ughhhh, gave myself the willies. Lol
And I love your property! Everything I've seen looks so nice! I would love to live in the woods.....minus predators of course. It's so dry here, we really only have hawks. Coyotes haven't tried to dig in with the dogs. Still have nightmares from all the horror stories I've read though. If my flocks were wiped out I'd be devistated.![]()
That is adorable!!

I LOVE those!!! I need to make more room. I am going to have to reduce my flocks drastically. Mostly going to keep bantams and a few LF for eggs.
Here are the four that hatched this morning so far.![]()
