Thank you all for the Bday wishes. Yup, it was on the 7th. In years past, for my Bday I have "requested" snow on that great day - since being in Reno, my request is usually granted. THIS year I asked for sunny skies - and got a WEEK of beautiful weather.
Course now, we are paying - a full day of snow, two days of rain and then snow again overnight, but that was a great week.
Have not been online much this past weekend, due to the crazy weather our power was hit, miss, hit, miss - so I just shut the computer down. Never actually lost power totally for longer than 5 minutes, but I think we lost it 12 times yesterday alone.
(I would love to go solar
)
Sunny - the eggs are in and a cookin'. The color display is beau-tee-ful! I did stick some MF cochin eggs in with yours - but none of my Large fowl. Lockdown Jan 5th, with the start of hatch bedtime Jan 8th. (that way, when I wake up, I hopefully have a bator full of chicks
)
SparksNV -
for Flower! Finally, a colored egg for you. And catching an egg - it is always a magical time for me - the egg is so warm, soft and slightly moist - so wonderful. This year, thanks to Flrpl, I am going to work on increasing the blue in my EE layers.
saym - beautiful trees!
stacyandskyler - will be shooting a PM back to ya!
Fantastic that Bunny is ok, and it always helps my heart to know what happened to the birds too - so I am glad you found sweet Omlet's remains (I once search for almost 24 hours looking for a little chick, hoping that the dang ravens had not eaten her, but I never found her. I worried about her passing away cold, lost and lonely - mom had been killed by the ravens.
