Nevadans?

I'll keep my ears open birdygirl123 - I may know someone who is looking for a BCM roo.

Thanks Sunny and Aubrey - I've been laughing so hard over this two arms thing!

Hi Everyone! I hope all is going well for everyone. I love the pictures of your kiddies Birdy, they are so adorable!

Well today is the big day, 3 of 6 sat the entire time so that is good for future hatchings. Now hopefully the chicks will hatch out. I am so nervous and excited at the same time. You would think I was the one that was having the babies hehe.

We are down 4 roos as of yesterday. It only took 2 hours to dress out 4 birds. We probably could have done more but was winding down pretty quickly with all of the back and forth to the house. We did two SLW, 1 RIR and 1 BA. After dressing them out I would say they are around 8 lbs each. I have 4 more roos to do next week but just the ones we've done has made a big difference out in the yard. We are going to BBQ them up Sunday so I will let you know how good they are. *LOL*

Congratulations Nikki! That's awesome. Do you have any pics of before/after dressing out?

*LOL* Nah, it never occurred to me to take pics, I still have some more to do next week so I will get the camera out. I think you of all ppl would actually appreciate the way we do it cause it is so quick and efficient. The birds never feel a thing and there is no real mess afterwards either. Maybe I will get the video camera out.

UPDATE: 11:29 am: No chicks yet... I candled most of these eggs so I know there are babies in there or at least they were developing fine as of last weekend.

Well we spent the entire day putting an outside area for the pigs. Now they have their inside pen, and a small outside area to get some fresh air! Heres a pic of my chicken, and the rest are pictures of my pigs and their pen

A great Stink Eye i took of my white leghorn, Winger, last month.
