aubrey what chicken laid that really awesome brown red egg a few pictures back?



Also i want to have chickens in the spring too

so it would be hard to wait for show quailty ones i know you can oreder show qualiy chicks from breeders but all they can gaurentee is that they are free of DQs at the time and there parents show quailty mabye i could try that but normally it is a rather largr order for a specific breed and color.

I have no clue. I didn't even know they came in bantam! It would probably be really hard to find

I remember seeing a pic once of a cuckoo marans bantam and once of a rare dwarf pullet (also cuckoo) but I doubt any bantams are recognized by the APA. Until recently no marans were but the Black Copper Marans was just accepted by the APA a few months ago. Barnevelders come in Bantam though. Although I'm not sure the APA recognizes them either. See this is why we need Tyler!
