Thanks for the hugs! We won't be moving for at least a month. The folks who are in it now are supposed to be out in 2 weeks but then the house needs some repairs before we can move in.

Sorry you have to give up your girls, SunnyDawn. I cant even imagine having to do that. I wish I lived closer, i'd consider taking some of your layers for my flock.

Thanks for the info. it sounds like your safe, you just need to get a conditional zoning permit ? Please let us know what that what that take if you go that route. I just checked my zoning and I'm RR-E. Who knows, eventually we might have to get the same permit? We won't do anything until someone comes' a knockin' though.
Yesterday, I let my chicks into the outside world for the first time! I opened their side of the little door, and blocked the adult's side, so they could go out into the yard while the adult flock was out free ranging!
Do you guys still think he is a roo? Every day it looks more like a roo to me...
Then once I made the pullets (and 1 supposed roo) go back into the coop, the adults came and cleaned everything up!
I also took a few pics of the hogs, can't believe how bit the black one is getting
Well, there's my update! Hope everyone is doing good!
Again, Sorry you have to get rid of your flock Sunny. I hope you find good homes for all of them!
