well this morning we found THIS LITTLE DUDE hanging out under mama

so that brings us to one maran and one black am.

as far as the little am is concerned, i am very worried for him. when i went to check on him this morning, i found that his protruded sac thing had dried and gotten stuck to mama's leg with his leg wrapped up in it. I had to get inside the crate with broody mom and cut him free. I ended up having to cut off most of the sac and some of Mama's feathers. there was a decent amount of blood. He is under a heat lamp right now drying off. I hope he makes it. He will not open his eyes but hes still breathing and flopping about

well sunny, if this guys dies and no others hatch, sierra feed will have chicks in tomorrow. Ill just buy one as a friend for the little maran.

Ahhhh!!! The feed store screwed me big time. I know it's a long shot but does anyone have any day olds I could buy????
