My guess is barred rock. Two of them have looked ready for longer than the others. also, sheryl said the first egg looked like a barred rock egg.

apart from mark, these are the two most important "people" in my life.
My older brother Josh, who is by backbone and my safety net. hes always there when i need him and cmon...cant you tell hes my muscle? also Elvis. My bad dog that i love with every stitch of my being. he is also my muscle, lol.

Since Sunny is going to be here this weekend and says she'll have a little room I though I'd ask here before putting it anywhere else.

I have 2 bantam GLC pullets that I'm looking to rehome. Think they were hatched in November? Not SQ, but they are getting to be pretty birds. If anyone is interested let me know. Might have something else, but can't think straight right now. I'll add as I go.

Here's a picture of John and I when our little one got married back in 2009. I was a blonde for over 12 years and then went to red. I'll go back to blonde again someday.



I call him my little one but he's 6'4". He's my baby and always will be.

Oh, I almost forgot what I logged in here for. I found a 3rd egg tonight when I went in to close up the coop! It was on the floor again. it's the same color as the first one but a little longer and skinnier. I'll post a photo later. This morning Soren came into our room and said, "Mom, the chickens are making a lot of noise. I can hear them. I think they're laughing."

One of them was practicing an egg song. Glad I got an egg out of it eventually. Here's hoping for more on a more regular schedule

Hahaha!!! Never thought about it but it does kinda sound like chicken laughter!

Thanks Elizabeth! I love doing halloween makeup and Steve is a good sport about it even though it's tough to get out of his beard.
