Thanks! Im so proud of us. Everyone of Mark's friends made fun of him when we met because I was so young, and now were the only ones who are still together after all of it. Bahaha. I love em though, they didnt know. And I am beyond excited to see Mommy!!! For those that dont know I am a HUGE fan of her (and her work...teeheehee...)

I love the tat, Aubrey! That's actually my favorite kind of rose. We looked all over for one for Mother's Day (a bush, not a single one) but settled for a pretty white rose. Actually, it's also the color of the roses from my mom's funeral. And that's not said to be depressing... whenever I see that kind of rose, I think of her and how awesome she was, and it's very uplifting.

soooo...sleeeeepy.....last ten hour shift of the week! Hoorayyyy!!! tomorrow I leave for LA to celebrate me and Markie's five year "anniversary". Plus I get to check up on my mom after the surgery. I am so beyond excited. Supposed to be in the low 70s all weekend. Hecka lucky.

I'm not sure what you mean by a neck issue. Did she injure her neck? I've never seen a neck issue on a bird except a marans chick once and he was fine the next day.

Pictures of my broody with her new babies

I added two more that I hatched in the incubator after this picture was taken. So 3/5 in the incubator hatched and 2 of the 4 under the broody (one of the broody's eggs is in the incubator because it turns out that another hen laid an egg in the box with the broody and this chick is not as far along!

All are BLRWs. They are so much fun to watch with their momma! I am handling them and they see me put the food down for them so they are already tame. The Wyandottes are SO sweet!

I JUST CHASED OFF A BIG Bobcat that was trying to get my chickens!
