Nevadans?

OK, I have started the official NV recipe page to be found here... https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/nevada-thread-recipes
It needs a lot more recipes and you folks are the best at providing great recipes so pony up now! You can repost recipes that have been seen already and/or post brand new ones.

Who knows? Maybe this will be a future fundraiser for NV 4Hers or something. :)

Do we repost here on the main thread, or msg them to someone?

That was weird. I didn't see your post earlier. I must have gotten distracted while typing. Darn ADHD! haha

I would prefer it if folks would repost them here since I have added Missy to the editor's list and that way either one of us can do it.

Also I have added Aubrey and Pam to the editors list on the member's page since a few people got missed once when I couldn't get on for a few days. That is just not OK with me.

I have added Ron to the main (new) page (sorry Ron I should've asked first) because he can do any future tech stuff that I am not great at. Like he can put cool shortened URL link for the same things that I have humongous long URLs listed for now. LOL

I'm here!
Hi Pam! How are the babies doing? So good to see you here!

IDK, red for events? *as in must stop here?* lol
Yeah I like green for gardening sites.

You're the best Ron! Thank you so much!
Awww, shucks, thanks Sunny!

OK, I added the tree nursery, the two feed stores from Seth, and the Livestock Center. I changed the feed stores to yellow pins, green for the tree nursery (and any other gardening supplies you all come up with), blue for miscellaneous like Twin Cities, and red for the NNPFA show. Time for the rest of you to step up, people! If you submit something, add a review, too. Like that one feed store Missy's hens got sick from. We need to do the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly!

I don't think it's your ADHD so much as the site - I've had that happen to me before, too, wherre I don't see a post that was before mine until after (sometimes a while after) I've posted. Even though the other post says it was 10 minutes before mine.

LOL on the URLs!

Oh, me too! Glad you got the Internet back and the fence done. If you're going to do any lawn, it's a time for planting...well, at least in CA. Sunny, the rest of the chicks are doing fine so far but I'm keeping them away from the flock just in case. There is one that is smaller like the one I lost so I'm keeping an eye on it, but I believe it's younger by one or two days. Looks like we're all missing each other on here!

Does anyone here have houdans? And if not... why don't we??? I mean, THIS:

A couple people's names come to mind when I look at this picture.

ETA: You know... there are two highly rated sellers on Ebay offering houdan eggs, for $11.50-$15 shipping, current bid 99 cents in addition. We'd need someone with an incubator...

Do you think it's too late in the year? They'd hatch around mid-October, ready to go outside at the end of November.

I looked for Houdans and sultans at the last poultry show in Stockton but didn't find any. I have sworn off chicks and eggs especially after a few got sick this year, if have to cull all the roosters which I just can't do. BTW just so everyone knows mark has cut me off sinse I told him were bringing home a pair of Elizabeth's birds :(
