They went on a date and had a romantic meal
Until the poor buffalo found out it was veal!

He had to break up with the giraffe
He didn't think it was right for her to laugh.

The buffalo became friends with a hunter
They went to the races and he became a punter

The next race was an 800 metre dash
So he bet big - he bet all his cash

His horse didn't finish instead it fell to the floor
The buffalo and the hunter became quite poor

Lucky for them they then won the lotto
They went out on the town and got really blotto

The alcohol was not good for the buffaloes bowels
He died the next day and was eaten by owls

The owls were full and flew away
Went back to the barn to sleep on the hay
