I looked at the rubber TSC pans but they were thick and heavy and the diameter did not satisfy my OCD.

How did u attach the base to the bucket ? Screws or some type of bolts with nuts ? I am thinking of making one of these. Thanks

That is a brilliant idea. I just upgraded my watering system and now it is time for the feeder. I am thinking of stealing your idea - hope you don't mind

very nice! I think saw those metal pans (I think they're sold for hogs or lambs or something) at TSC the other day.

The metal pan at TSC would be about perfect for a 5 gal bucket feeder. I just wanted a smaller diameter pan for the smaller bucket. I only have five chicks. I'm amazed at how fast they are growing and so far they are only eating about 5 lbs/week.

Will they eat more as they get older?
