(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens now for about 1 1/2 years, I got them all from chicks at a local TSC.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 9 chickens, and hopefully 3 more forming in the incubator.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have Rhodies, Golden Sex Link, Black Sex Link, and one Leghorn.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love the sounds they make, and I try and imitate/talk to them. LOL, I know silly huh?
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I like to play computer games, and work isn't a hobby but I do that ALOT HAHA!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a husband, and a step daughter. My mom and dad also live with us. We have one cat he lives outside mostly, but we let him in to eat and chill. We also have 4 canines that we love so very much! It is one big happy family full of feathered and furry animals!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC by searching for information about incubating eggs. I have known about BYC for about 2 weeks. Happy to have found such an informative site! I joined because I love chickens, and the bounds of users with tips and tricks I can look at 24/7!
