Stupid coyotes...they got another hen today! I just let them out for a little while..poor chickens they have been locked up in their dark coop most of the week...there were people around and I thought they would be safe today...but a hen is missing...3 last Sunday and 1 today! My boyfriend gets home tomorrow and says the coyotes must pay!

Oh me too! I want them gone! I even answered a craigs list ad for a guy who is a coyote hunter...but he said to much housing around so he couldn't help me! I have cats too...so the coyotes must go!

I incubated successfully 2 weeks old eggs many times the size is what i see as probable problem big size eggs have low hatch rate and it may be an egg with 2 yolks so it will not hatch

Two yolk eggs can hatch just fine with a little help, just look on you tube lot's of people have hatched them ^o^

Welcome all
As i promised day 10 today and i candle it looks like my friends rooster is not very how to say it active 12 out of 28 eggs are infertile and a 2-3 under question it is going to be a failure hatch this one considering my standards
I will candle again on day 18 before lock down and let you know

I did, post no 81 i will candle again on 15 or 18 day
