Well, he weighed a tad more than that, but my little man Xander meant business! He took on Atlas without hesitation in the barn aisle that day. I sure miss him. He was the best little Munchkin Dictator ever, never had a bantam hen in his life, only the big gals.

They are really funny when they get like that. My ko shamos are so ridiculous in that regard. Take on anything, even their hens! I have a little 14 week old cockerel I'm trying to introduce to his future girlfriend, who is six months old and twice his size. What's the first thing he does when I try to put them together? Jump up at her face of course And he would NOT back down. She kept knocking him down, he'd get back up and was right back at her. I was afraid he was going to kill himself so now they're in adjacent pens until he's older.

I really do hope this guy grows quick because I really need him to be in with her fertilizing her eggs. Getting infertile eggs from her now and I don't have any other rooster she could be with.

In Bonnie's group of seven, I have a splash partridge male and several blue partridge males plus what appears to be a blue partridge pullet. That is the only Brahma pullet here, I think, besides the two splash partridge girls who will be leaving here by next Thursday.

I have never had this many boys on the place at one time, ever!
