New BYC Auction System - Want To Buy A Chicken (Just A Test)

THERE'S MY ANSWER!! And it is set up beautifully!!!!!

My experience with the system....it's too easy, I'm doomed!!

You, dear Nifty, have just revolutionized poultry auctions. I see a huge spiraling downfall for eggbid. Okay, maybe not a downfall, but at least an uppercut. There is not enough monitoring going on there for the amount of problems I see.

Suggestion:

The page needs a place on there that lists methods of payments that will be accepted by the seller....paypal, moneyorder, or personal check.

Pretty neat Nifty! I like the way its set up..
Is this going to take over the BST forum though...as in..we'll have to use auctions to sell eggs or whatever..just wondering..

ooh and it also lets you know through PM if someone bids higher than you ... Pretty cool!

Wow this will be cool! Where is it going to be? In the BST area?

I think it is a great idea. I had no problems voting!

Thanks,
Cody!!

Great questions and suggestions!

The system requires bids by at least $0.25 increments. This is to ensure auctions don't just keep going by penny by penny.

We may add this in the future, for now the payment options can be put into the body of the listing.

Yes, all BST listings will be required to use this new system once it is released. The only items that don't have to be via this system are "For Trade" and "Wanted To Buy"

So I went back and bid $14.00 and that was accepted. Is this a glich?

You say AT LEAST $.25 increments, but my bid was more than $.25 as it was $14.28 and I had to decrease it to $14.00 (or could have went higher I imagine). So, you are saying all bids need to be EXACTLY on the dollar or every 25 cents?
