Ive been thinking about offering multiple items, such as a bunch of chicks, in one auction. You know, ebay has those dutch auctions. Theirs are a little complicated, but you could simplify it by having a dutch auction that is offered buy it now only, where someone offers 100 widgets for $1.00 each, and each buyer just puts down how many they are taking. Say I want 50 widgets, I put in 50, and the counter should automatically adjust for 50 left. So the auction stays live until all 100 are gone.
Easy for me to say, right? Probably a coding nightmare.
My opinion? You are setting yourself up for an enormous amount of additional work...EastBAY I'm sure has a whole team of fulltime geeks to handle all the problems/quarrels/security/dishonesty/etc. that arise everyday at its site...JMO again...very noble of you to try though and even without charging for your services and all.....
I am sure that I must be crazy....but I can't figure out how to bid. I can see links for the feedback, contact seller, bid history and such, but there is no way for me to bid. BTW, I'm on a MAC, if that makes a difference.
