new chickens wont leave coop

ok so they went in on their own last night but now they wont come out! what time do they usually come out in the morning? the food is in the run area and they have an open door to it from the coop. should i just leave them alone or try and shove them out? we got them yesterday and they are 6 months old

Chickens don't take to change quickly. Give it time and they will become more comfortable with their surroundings.

You could try luring them out with some kind of special human left over or something they will really associate with GREAT food. Left over Mac & Cheese, or something they'll devour.
