The coop is looking great! We just started building a new coop today, and it's turning out to be huge! We just finished the floor today and are hoping to get more done next weekend, hopefully the weather will be nicer. You know, I can always take that roo off your hands
I can't wait to see those pictures
As soon as the kiddo is in bed so DH can help me get decent ones. The roos keep moving, silly buggers.
Here is Primo back on April 14. He hasn't changed much. He's the friendly one. He's serama and modern game.
Henrietta, All I can say is WOW!! You and dh have done a fantastic job!!I can't wait to get home and get started on mine. I really need a summer kitchen, a place outside my home for summer canning, freezor, processing animals, etc. Since I have 3, count them, 3 kits, I would like to come up with a way to hook two of them together...like my own little getaway...
Very cool! Wish I had seen this before my coop was nearly done
We had the too tall coop issue as well and decided to put a bunch of roosts up high so the chickens could use the space. I don't know how it is going to work out yet as they are still in the brooder, but I did see someone else putting high roosts up to utilize vertical space and he said they loved it.
WOW!
i can't believe how awesome your backyard is!!!
i'm totally jealous.
great job on the henhouse - it's fantastic.
sorry it's taken me so long to add my two cents here - i've been swamped with finals and had to stay off the board in order to avoid massive byc procrastination the last few weeks but now i'm back!
please take more pics of the ducks, chickens, and all of the critters and post 'em. i'm having to live vicariously through you and the other duck people because i don't have space for them here.
