But i saw that others use ceramic reptile heating lamp which only emits heat no light, would it be better? I am just currently using the 25watts but am concern that they will not be on a normal daylight. (Which is also one of my problem with my other 3months old chicken wherein they got used to light at night). My brooding cage is somewhat enclosed. Wherein if no light inside the cage then it is really dark.
Because I use natural daylight for the "light" I don't use any artificial light because I want them to have a normal day/night cycle.

You can use a ceramic bulb but you would still need to provide artificial light during the day if the ambient light isn't enough. So that might be a better choice if you want them to have a day/night cycle (so ceramic at night and regular light for day, or ceramic 24/7 with a light outside the brooder during day).

I also would love them to be on a natural daylight. But due to the needed heat, i provided heat bulb, but if the ceramic light would be okay, i would really love them to be kept on a natural daylight. Do they (days old chicks) panic when at night where it is full dark?

They'll panic the first night or two. As long as I know they're able to find their way under the heat source (easier for you since it's a bulb) I just shut the door and walk away.

How many days old? If is only a couple, then no, not if it gradually gets dark. They might if it goes full light to full dark at the flip of a switch. When mine were in the bathtub in an apartment, there was no natural light at all. I mimicked dusk as well as I could by turning hallway and nearby bedroom lights on then turning the main bathroom light off, waiting a bit then turning the dimmer bathroom light off, and so on until they were in full dark.

If they are several days old and have never seen full dark, I would dim lights more gradually and according to their reactions, maybe not getting to full night the first night.

edit to add.. if they panic, they will get over it; chickens panic a lot. But it isn't hard to make this easier on them.

Thank you. Feel better that they really might panic the first day or two, and it is just normal. the old ones who i can’t turn off light at night are already 3months, they panic. But will keep on trying gradually increasing the hours they will have no night light. The new ones are just three days old, they are placed in the brooder with a 25watts light bulb for heat(can’tturn it off at night) but will order the ceramic light so that there will be heat without light.

Do your 3 month old chicks still need heat? Aren't they feathered out by now?
