Just noticed she has it on her jaw towards her feathers as well. Same side. Sorry it’s hard to see

@DwayneNLiz oh Jesus... even if we have Billy? She’s a female duck. We’ll see what happens. If Sunni end up being a drake idk we’ll have to figure something out
its possible that he may still want the chicken just need to keep an eye out

Would that explain the aggressiveness? Like her trying to bite the chickens if they get too close/her biting my cat?
possibly, yes

Alright guys a little Sunni update: we were gone all day today and when we got home she was SO excited and kept running around. She really loves being around us lol but she was so hyper that she kept biting my lip! Is that normal duckling behavior? She’s done it ever since she was little and I’ll give her “kisses” and she’ll nibble on me but these bites were hard! I’m still feeling them about an hour later. Still no signs of quacking. Honestly I don’t even know how old she is anymore since the store didn’t have her exact age. Her belly is all feathers now and her wing feathers are getting longer. Also noticed when we came home that she had red marks on her bill... any idea where they came from? I did my best to take pictures.

She has them under her nostril but more forward and also a tinier red mark on her nostril
looks like it may have scratched itself, i wouldnt worry about it
pin feathers are itchy!

Hey @DwayneNLiz i have Billy and Sunni inside for a bath right now for the first time together. Billy definitely is not as scared as she was of Sunni at the beginning but she’s still pretty scared. Both of them are shaking and whenever they get really close to each other Sunni looks like she’s almost trying to mount Billy and rubbing her neck on hers and stuff. I know in situations where ducks shake they run against me but I’ve never seen them do it to other ducks... is this a strong sign that Sunni is a boy? Or is she just trying to be dominant over Billy?
