New duckling! Help?

Pics
Ok guys here's a little update.

Billy is absolutely TERRIFIED of Sunni. Like horribly afraid of her. I put them in the bathroom together and Billy was so scared of her that she was climbing all over me, shaking, and even trying to fly into the bathtub to get away from her. Sunni was just preening herself, at least she isn't scared of Billy as well. But I do not know what to do. It'l only been 3 days since we've gotten Sunni and I know it's a long process to introduce birds but at this point I have 0 hope that things are going to work out.

One time I introduced day old chicks into a group of week old chicks. The week olds were absolutely terrified of the day olds. Things take time. Billy should eventually get used to her. One trick I have found useful is to introduce the bird that the other is scared of into the others territory. So in your case, you would put Sunni in with billy, rather than Billy in with sunny. It will all work out. ;) :hugs

:hugsAh! Don't give up hope so fast! Slow baby steps. Violin player has an excellent point. If it's on billy's turf maybe she won't feel so threatened. Slow supervised introductions for a while then maybe when sunny is ready to be outside put her in a separate pen for a while so Billy can begin to approach her. . maybe feed them treats on opposite sides of the fence where they she can start noticing that good things happen when sunny is around. . it just takes time and patience don't give up!:hugs

@ViolinPlayer123 I would do that but Billy's territory is also the territory of our 5 chickens and I can't put a duckling in there with those dinosaurs. They'd tear her to pieces.

@shawluvsbirds Yah I think I'm going to start taking her outside more and keeping her in her cage next to theirs. We did that today while we were cleaning out her box and all the big birds were just watching her walk around in the cage. She doesn't mind them at all.
