The color peach in some breeders eyes,is just a darker shade of Cameo

I would think it would appear that way, like it's "shaded" with purple. But I dunno- like you, I think there's a difference that isn't just shading. If you look at the peach birds Deerman had vs. all the cameo pics that are around, it's a pretty good difference.
 
I swear that I read that hens can not be split to the sex linked colors. ( peach, purple, cameo, violete)
Thats what my breeder mentioned to me when i got my cameo hen, her dad is a cameo and i thought her mom was a bronze but now i believe she was from the black shouldered in the pen.
I love her coloring even if she has no metallic feathers like the blues, i am getting a few more if they hatch this year.

Yep, because unlike humans where the male is XY and the female is XX, in birds the sex chromosomes are Z and W, and the males are ZZ and the females are ZW, and the colors transfer on the Z chromosome. So a female with 1 copy of the sex-link color would automatically be that color, since there is no second Z to make a difference.
 
So no cameos from this breeding i guess
