Since we adopted the three chickens, we fell in love with them.
On July 10th, I picked up three baby chicks that a breeder dropped off at a local feed store earlier that morning. I told her I wanted Silkie's and asked what colors would be there (no response). I decided to go and was told to look for hair on their feet to find silkies. After picking up several chicks the gal helped me pick three. When I got home, I noticed one does not have fur on the feet but a beautiful crest. The smallest has fur on the feet but a very small crest (I thought it might be small due to age).The all gray one seems to be a pure silkie. I sent pictures to the breeder, no response. I think one might be polish? The breeder breeds Bobtails, Cochins, Show Girls, Polish and Silkies. It has beautiful coloring but no idea what its called. I would appreciate your thoughts on breed and colors. Thank you!
