I bet chicks in the winter time can be a bit challenging... I've only ever got them in spring and I'm ready for those fluff butts to get out of my house in about 2 weeks! I finally built a coop with a brooder space to make it easier. Your chicks should be fully feathered by now, if you just take a few precautions, I'm sure they would be fine outside as long as they're protected from drafts (and predators).
