New Jersey

Not sure what type of rabbits they are, but they are 3 sisters, Lena, Issabelle, and Carolyn. I had adopted them when they were aprox 7 months old. (there first 6 months of life were a horror story, it took quite awhile for them to trust us.)
They are so pretty!! My mocha escaped her hutch somehow (or was let out as a prank perhaps). Luckily a neighbor found her 2 days later. Before that, she wasn't the most snugly of bunnies, now she loves cuddles! :)

Lol

I love it. Maybe one day...we need to ease into all of this. Having the new one have a cold (?-bubbles in her eyes) already threw us a bit with all that you read about it! We worry about the kids getting colds...now the chickens too?!

They are all so pretty though. I love that the biggest one actually hopped towards me to be petted today

cute!
Do you add ACV to their water? One TBL pergallon. It is great for their immune system. You can search this site and there's alot of info on ACV and the benefits for giving it. Also I give the girls crushed garlic weekly. I mix it in some cooked quinoa or cooked brown rice--they love it. With the garlic it is also good for worms.
If you need to add an antibiotic to their water you could call Roger's Pet Store, they usually have many different things on hand for animals. When i first had gotten my chicks, one of them was sneezing, I had asked around and was told to add some antibiotics to their water. Rogers had the powdered antibiotics. I am not a big fan of giving meds to animals or humans unless absolutelty necessary--I always try the natural approach first. Also look on this site in the emergency/diease section you will be able to find info there.
Hope your chicken starts to feel better soon.

Cute! They look like mixes. I have six rabbits! They are almost as addicting as chickens. :)

What kind of rabbits do you have? In or outdoors?
I LOVE rabbits. About16 years ago, we had out first set of rabbits, brother and sister (I had had Philip neutered at 6 months of age) My husband built them a huge hutch and during the day they had the run of part of the yard. They were awesome. When they passed away probably at 9 years of age I wasn't sure what to do with the hutch, but I said, well you never know....so we kept it. Then when I had gotten the chicks, I used the hutch to put the girls in during the day (it was summer then) then at night they still were sleeping in my house, while their coop was being built. So it's a good thing I kept the hutch, now I have the 3 rabbits and the hutch is still in great condition even though 16 years old---when my husband builds something, he builds it to last. LOL!!!
I am thinking of adopting 2 more rabbits, the real big ones. I just have to convince my husband to build another hutch.

and when you go to buy baby chicks in NJ you HAVE to buy a minimum of 6! In towns that only allow 4 what did they want you to do with the other 2????
I'm sure the away in enlishtown would kill me if they knew i was posting this but................ when i went in last year to buy two chicks i gave this exact arguement. They felt bad but wouldn't budge. What i convinced them to do was let me buy 6, take 2 at that time, and when i want to come in and get a chick or two they'll initial my reciept. I was ok with this plan since i knew i'd be in for more at some point in time.

Frustrating part is that the agway by new egypt let's a co-worker of mine stop in any time and buy one or two all the time even though they have the 6 chick rule too.

I have one Mini Rex, one New Zealand, one Holland Lop, one English Spot, one Polish, and one American Fuzzy Lop. You should get big rabbits! They are the best! I love my NZ.

Every flock has to have an EE right?

Are they green eggs?
I got the chicks from kahlua. They should. She may know what the mix and egg color may be, but they look like they have some wheaten in them. Very pretty. This one is available, a little darker of the two. I'm sure they are girls, look at the feathering for not even two weeks old.
