New member - Biofilter recommendations please?

Welcome to BYC frm hot and humid St. Louis, Missouri! I'm also a duck addict with 44 ducks LOL This is the best bio filter set up I've ever seen. You need more than just a filter. You need plants to remove the really high amount of Nitrogen in the water. Hope this helps:
That's a great system! It's a little like the one on tyrant farms blog; we were hoping not to have to make something so mega, but I'm now feeling like it's going to have to go that way. We're mega tight on space, but I think I can steal a bit from the chickens. Thank you 😊 xxxx

I don't believe there is a biofilter that exists that can keep up with what the ducks will deposit into the pond. Not even a mechanical filter followed by a biological filter.
