Feed my girls layer feed cracked corn black sunflower seeds cabbage grass peppers and no night shade plants what so ever. That is no potatoes tomatoes and eggplant

Nice set up! So sorry for your losses. Did you see any symptoms before hand or at death? Chickens hide their illnesses quite well however with close inspection and observation you can usually tell when somebody is having an off day.

You might want to consider laying off the cracked corn. It's not good for chickens in the slightest. Most layer feeds have corn in abundance already. They shouldn't have any more added to their feed.

Heidi, sorry for your rough start. Lay off the cracked corn. Be sure that they have grit to help grind up their feed. Always have clean water available (even when they drink out of mud puddles) and try your best to love them with all your heart
