new Member with 11 baby chicks.

Hey guys, i have 11 baby chicks in a small brooder in the house. they about 9 days old today!
I was using hay for bedding however no more hay, can I use white pine shavings?

you will probably like the pine better. I put it in the brooder a bit deep maybe 4" and the chicks pack it down fast to i would go stir it up with a stick each day so they would have fun and play in the "fluff" also when i cleaned out there brooder i just set the new bale of shaving in the center and let them climb on it and spread it out. they had fun playing king of the hill on it.
