Nope. My chickens are looking kind of ratty at present... Over-active roo has taken his toll on his poor lady friends.

Friends have said I should enter something I cook in the fair, but I am clueless as to what...

Have coyotes, but they're not a problem at my place. We LOVE them for the rabbit control.
(My chickens do not free range and are in a Fort Knox type of coop. Coyotes just trot on past the coop/run structure going from Point A to Point B without stopping to look at the occupants.)

Hello New Mexicans!!! I am from Southeastern New Mexico originally from beautiful Oasis Roswell but currently living in Artesia. This year I started caring for some chickens (my girlfriend's 91 year old grandma's) well y'all know how chicken math works... Started off with 3 chickens and now we have 25. 4 Plymouth barred rocks, 6 silkie Cochin mixes, 1 silkie, 1 old English bantaam, 1 German bielfelder, 1 Isabel English orpington, 1 Colombian splash English orpington, 1 lavender cuckoo English orpington, 1 black mottled English orpington, and I'll be getting a lavender mottled English orpington today!!

I could easily make it 25 for you! Chicken math has caught up with me too. Would you like a few Wyandotte adult hens to go with your flock? I have 16 hens and a rooster and I need to get back down to my bakers dozen: 12 hens and 1 roo.
